Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Office Manager Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare administration team. In this vital role, you will support the smooth operation of the medical office by assisting with billing, medical records management, and administrative tasks. Your energetic approach will help ensure accurate documentation, efficient patient billing processes, and seamless communication across departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving healthcare environment while developing your expertise in office management.

Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the business office
Assist with day-to-day office operations and task coordination
Provide receptionist coverage as needed, including answering phones and greeting visitors
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Communicate effectively with internal team members and departments
Support the Business Office Manager and leadership team as needed
Handle patient inquiries related to billing and insurance claims with professionalism and clarity.
Support the collection of outstanding medical accounts through follow-up communications and documentation.
Maintain detailed records of all billing activities, and correspondence for audit purposes.

Experience

Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare administrative role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used for patient data entry and record keeping.
Understanding of medical billing processes and collections procedures.
Ability to interpret complex medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and work independently
Flexible and dependable with a willingness to support multiple functions
Previous Administrative or Receptionist experience preferred
Healthcare or Skilled Nursing experience is a plus

Full-time Availability
Must have an Active AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
Valid BLS or CPR Certification
