HOME CARE SCHEDULING MANAGER

Visiting Angels is hiring for a friendly, experienced home care Scheduling Manager to join our Office team!

Visiting Angels of BuxMont, PA is a leading non-medical home care agency which provides services for seniors and disabled adults while in the comfort of their own home. We’re seeking an experienced, pro-active and professional person to join our office team as a full-time Lead Scheduler

As the Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while matching caregivers with clients, ensuring the schedule is fully staffed, and managing the scheduling department.

Responsibilities:

● Schedule clients and care staff for service times that meet their needs and availability

● Oversee the other Visiting Angels schedulers to fill new cases and emergency call outs

● Ensure all members of the department are complying with company policies

● Maintain organized documentation for staff, client files and payroll

● Answer the telephone and greet the public

● Support all staff in routine and as-needed functions

● Communicate effectively with staff and clients

● Organize and maintain file systems in compliance with policies regulations

● Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and client’s family members.

● Perform general clerical duties - prepare correspondence, copying, filing, scanning, uploading, shredding and distribution of appropriate caregiver and client documentation.

A successful candidate will meet the following job requirements:

● Verifiable prior experience in non-medical home care scheduling

● Verifiable prior experience in managing non-medical home care schedulers

● Ability to multi-task, prioritize and perform well under pressure, in a timely manner

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to take initiative, work independently, and make decisions without being instructed by management.

● Knowledge of office practices and procedures, machines, and other equipment.

● Proficiency with Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel and Outlook ) applications and Google Docs, with the ability to learn new software.

● Ability to effectively communicate ( in-person, by email and by telephone ) with staff, clients, family members, vendors and visitors; good interpersonal relations.

● Ability to work professionally in an office environment.
