What You'll Do

As an Ophthalmic Technician, you'll become a vital part of our “Saving Sight Squad.” You'll work directly with patients, physicians, and our care team. Your responsibilities will include:

Gathering patient histories and inputting medical data
Taking diagnostic images and preparing patients for exams
Performing vision tests and assisting with in-office treatments
Daily paid travel to support our satellite clinics
Educating and comforting patients throughout their visit

Hold a valid Texas driver's license with a clean 3-year record

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role. You'll need to be able to:

Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Perform tasks that require fine motor skills including stoop, kneel, bend and crouch
Specific vision abilities required for this role includes viewing multiple computer screens, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus and good vision
