Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated On-Site Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential properties, ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction and property performance. This role involves managing leasing activities, maintaining property standards, and fostering positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a strong understanding of property management practices, legal regulations, and customer service excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant community while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of property operations, including property cleanliness, leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
Manage lease or rental agreement processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws such as Fair Housing regulations and Landlord-Tenant Law.
Utilize property management tools like Yardi to track occupancy, financials, maintenance requests, and reporting.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety standards, cleanliness, and proper maintenance are upheld.
Handle client communication with professionalism via phone, email, and in person to address inquiries, resolve conflicts, and upsell available services or units.
Maintain thorough records through data entry, filing systems, and legal administrative documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations such as Fair Housing laws.

Skills

Proven experience with property management software including Yardi, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, and legal administrative procedures.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
Skilled in negotiation and conflict management to resolve tenant issues amicably while protecting company interests.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for reporting and administrative tasks.
Experience in leasing or rental agreement management within a property management company setting.
Ability to handle property maintenance coordination.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, filing systems, and legal documentation.
Demonstrated leadership in team management with a focus on fostering a collaborative work environment.
