At Goodwill of Western New York, we believe in the power of work to change lives. As a Workforce Program Assistant, you’ll play a key role behind the scenes helping ensure our Goodskills Career Builder program runs smoothly and supports individuals on their path to meaningful employment.

If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others succeed, this is an opportunity to make a real impact every day.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll support the daily operations of a dynamic workforce development program by:

Coordinating schedules, calendars, and program logistics
Preparing materials for orientations, trainings, and graduation events
Maintaining accurate participant records and program documentation
Entering and managing data in program systems and tracking tools
Communicating with participants, graduates, and partners
Supporting staff with administrative tasks that keep the program running efficiently

You will be a critical part of the team - ensuring everything is organized, accurate, and on time.

What You Bring

1–3 years of administrative or office support experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Clear, professional communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Comfort working with data, systems, and documentation
A commitment to handling confidential information with care

Bonus if you have: experience with databases or case management systems.

What to Expect

Full-time, non-exempt position
Primarily office-based with a mix of sitting, standing, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
A collaborative, fast-paced environment where your work directly supports program success

Compensation

$16.00–$19.00/hour based on experience
