Full Job Description

General Description:
Centaurus Financial, Inc. (“CFI”) is a full-service broker/dealer and registered investment advisor catering to the independent investment professional. We are currently seeking an Operations and Order Processing Associate to join our staff in Sandy Springs, GA. The Operations and Order Processing Associate is a full-time role reporting to the Chief Operations Officer. We offer an outstanding opportunity for a motivated, flexible, self-starter to work with a highly skilled staff in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter. Candidates with experience in the following areas, among others, will be considered.

Position Requirements (knowledge, skill and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):

10-key data entry and typing (40+ WPM)
The ability to handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls.
Excellent verbal communication skills.

Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, strong work ethic, flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with other personnel/departments to deliver high quality customer service.

Experience in the independent financial services channel.
Experience with the BNY Pershing NetX360 platform a plus.
SIE and Series 7 required.
The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and perform various tasks with a high level of attention to detail.
The ability to manage time and prioritize job duties.
Excellent computer proficiency, specifically in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Process written and verbal business requests, such as account opening, account transfers, account maintenance, money movement, etc.
Perform daily new account tasks/data entry tasks, efficiently and accurately, via internal databases and/or custodian software platforms.
Regularly exercise discretion and business judgment.
Respond to high volumes of email.
