Full Job Description

Engineered Parts Sourcing (EPS) is a fast‑growing Georgia‑based manufacturer of specialty fasteners and cold‑headed parts serving OEMs across the U.S. and internationally. For 40 years, we’ve been the only fastener supplier in Georgia, operating a state‑of‑the‑art facility built for precision, quality, and continued expansion.

We’re investing in new equipment, expanding our footprint, and strengthening our supply chain operations. We are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator with a solid understanding of manufacturing workflows, start‑to‑finish supply chain processes, and ERP/MRP systems to support our purchasing team.

Position Overview

The Purchasing Coordinator ensures materials move efficiently through the supply chain—from demand planning and supplier sourcing to order placement, tracking, and on‑time delivery. This role requires strong manufacturing awareness, ERP accuracy, and the ability to coordinate purchasing activities that directly support production.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels and identify purchasing needs based on production requirements
Source and qualify suppliers for raw materials and engineered fasteners
Create and manage purchase orders within the ERP/MRP system with a high degree of accuracy
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with domestic and international suppliers
Track open orders, expedite shipments, and resolve delivery or quality issues
Assist with monthly on‑time delivery and inventory reporting
Maintain awareness of market trends, lead times, and material availability
Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry standards
Collaborate closely with production, inventory control, and quality teams
Support team projects and perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes, including demand planning, purchasing, production flow, and inventory management
Knowledge of manufacturing workflows, materials, and supplier lead times
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Self‑motivated with a continuous improvement mindset

Salary and Benefits

$50,000-$55,000 annual salary
Business Casual dress code
No travel required
Schedule: 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday
Job Type: Full‑Time, on‑site only (no hybrid or remote option)
