We are seeking a talented and dedicated Seamstress Tailor to join our vibrant fashion retail team. Duties

Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to construct, alter, and repair garments with precision and attention to detail
Measure clients accurately and interpret design specifications to deliver tailored fits that exceed expectations
Assist customers by providing expert advice on garment alterations and fitting adjustments
Follow detailed sewing patterns and garment construction guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every piece
Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including managing sewing tools, fabrics, and supplies efficiently
Collaborate with the retail team to understand customer needs and deliver personalized tailoring services
Perform basic math calculations for measurements, fabric quantities, and pattern adjustments as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or tailoring within a fashion retail or similar environment
Proficiency with sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques essential for detailed garment work
Strong understanding of fashion retail standards and customer service principles
Ability to interpret technical drawings, patterns, and measurements accurately
Excellent attention to detail combined with good communication skills
Basic math skills for measurements, fabric calculations, and pattern adjustments
