American Masonry Supply is a masonry/cement based product used on commercial and residential structures to provide ornamentation and uniqueness at entryways and other focal points of a building. The product is produced in molds. Our product is sold throughout the United States.

Carpenter – Architectural Form Builder (Shop-Based)

Do you take pride in your carpentry skills? Enjoy solving challenges with your hands and your head? At American Masonry Supply we don’t just make products — we build the forms that give shape to architectural details across commercial and residential projects throughout the Southwest.

You’ll work year-round in a stable, well-equipped shop, honing your carpentry skills on a wide variety of projects — from clean-lined panels to intricate architectural features. This is a full-time, hands-on position where skilled carpentry meets craftsmanship — the kind of work that builds lasting structures and sharpens your trade.

What You’ll Be Trained to Do as a Carpenter / Form Builder

Build custom wood and MDO molds that shape architectural precast and GFRC components
Translate shop drawings and plans into accurate, durable formwork
Work with wood, MDO, and standard carpenter’s shop tools (table saw, miter saw, jig saw, routers, nail guns, etc.)
Reinforce and seal molds for repeated use in production
Work closely with production to ensure on-time, accurate form delivery
Develop specialized skills in mold layout, assembly, and finishing through on-the-job training

What We’re Looking For

Solid hands-on carpentry and building skills — fabrication, set building, millwork, or similar backgrounds all translate well
Ability to read plans and drawings and translate them into clean, accurate builds
Comfortable working with wood, MDO, and basic shop tools in a safe, precise manner
Understanding of layout, squaring, and bracing to ensure molds hold up in real-world use
A practical problem-solver with a focus on quality and consistency
Pride in building something tangible that becomes part of architectural projects
