Warehouse Associate (Full-Time)

OVERVIEW
Kanto is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our growing warehouse operations in Burlington, WA.
Kanto designs, manufactures, and supports a wide range of consumer electronics products. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced warehouse team member to support daily operations including order fulfillment, receiving, inventory management, returns processing, and product rework.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including order picking, shipping and receiving, inventory control, returns processing, and product rework activities.
This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to follow established procedures while making sound decisions based on company guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive inbound shipments, unload trucks and containers, palletize products, and put inventory away.
- Prepare outbound shipments and complete required shipping documentation.
- Support inventory transfers between locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks, and electric pallet wrappers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Inventory Management
- Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Support inventory audits and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Assist with stock organization and warehouse efficiency initiatives.
- Complete inventory-related tasks using warehouse systems and processes.
Returns Processing & Product Rework
- Process customer returns.
- Inspect returned merchandise for damage, defects, missing components, and overall condition.
- Review return reasons and follow established guidelines to determine the appropriate next steps.
- Accurately document returned items and update inventory records.
- Sort returned products based on condition and prepare items for rework, refurbishment, or recycling.
- Support product rework initiatives as required.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with warehouse team members and support daily operational requirements.
- Follow established procedures while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute positively to the team environment.
- Perform additional projects and duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience required.
- Experience with order picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control, or returns processing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when handling inventory.
- Ability to follow processes and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Computer literate with basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software.
- Experience operating forklifts, electric/manual pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.
- Experience processing customer returns or product rework.
- Previous experience in electronics, manufacturing, distribution, or e-commerce warehouse environments.
Forklift and equipment experience is preferred; Kanto will provide training for qualified candidates.
