Full Job Description

Are you looking for more than a redundant office manager position? Would you like varying projects to keep your day moving? Interested in having a role to contribute to the decisions made for our small portfolio of companies? Immediate opening!

Small, but rapidly growing niche commercial construction company is looking for a dynamic, experienced accounting and office management candidate with good people skills, strong organizational skills who can work independently, and is a common sense critical thinker able to prioritize and manage time effectively. This position, its responsibilities, and job opportunity will grow as company continues its upward trends through organic growth and acquisitions. This candidate will work closely with the owner to help make decisions and maintain company growth track. This position is located in our brand new New Berlin facility!

Daily responsibilities will include the following:

QuickBooks:

Maintain full charge of all accounting functions. Payroll service processing & related reports and tax forms as well as invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax/tax exemption filing, and job costing. Financial Statement Preparation, and bank reconciliations.

Microsoft:

Office Suite- Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Field phone calls

Human Resource Administration

Special Project Assistance, additional duties and responsibilities are available as company grows.

Review construction Contracts, certified payroll, AIA pay applications, familiar with Certificates of Insurance and dealing with contractor customers.

Technology: Basic understanding of small company network/server/printer communication is helpful.

This is a salaried, 9-5 position located in our brand new office location.

Compensation and benefits are commensurate with experience. We offer employer sponsored health insurance, 401k plan with company contributions, profit sharing, and paid time off!

Undergraduate degree or relevant experience in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred. Minimum Associate degree in accounting or equivalent office management experience will be considered.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
