Join Our Surgical Team!

Clermont Ambulatory Surgical Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pre/Post-Operative and Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and smooth surgical experience for our patients before and after procedures.

Position Overview

The Pre/Post-Op and Cath Lab RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in both the pre-operative and post-anesthesia phases of care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform pre-operative assessments and patient preparation
Review medical history, medications, and surgical consents
Start IVs and administer medications as ordered
Monitor patients post-procedure and assess recovery status
Provide patient and family education for discharge instructions
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and surgical team
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (required)
Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License
BLS Certification (AHA required)
ACLS Certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of acute care or perioperative experience required
Experience in ASC, PACU, or surgical setting preferred
