About Us

Union Orthotics & Prosthetics Co. is a Orthotics & Prosthetics provider serving patients throughout western Pennsylvania. Our team is dedicated to improving mobility and quality of life through compassionate patient care, innovation, and operational excellence.

We are seeking a highly organized, technology-driven, and proactive individual to support the Human Resources Manager with interviewing, onboarding, benefits enrollment, training and compliance. Additionally this role will be our internal liaison with our outside IT contractor to support company IT needs and issues, provide support for communications systems, as well as assist management with other administrative functions.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems independently, and can successfully manage multiple responsibilities across departments.

This role requires exceptional organization, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and coordinate projects independently.

Essential Job Functions

Assist the Human Resources Manager:

Assist managers in performing hiring activities, advertising for company vacancies and creating job offers
Provide onboarding and orientation for new hires
Set up new employees' equipment, phone systems, and email accounts
Oversee employee benefits and open enrollment
Coordinate and ensure annual compliance training is completed
Design any learning materials as needed for training and compliance training
Maintain employment paperwork and records
Assist in solving any HR related issues

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities with a calm, caring approach
Comfortable learning and supporting technology systems
Ability to manage time effectively, stay organized, and think independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective critical thinking skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues consistently, confidentially and professionally.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and manage multiple tasks in a constantly changing work environment while paying attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the interview.
