Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-time Bookkeeping/Accounting professional to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, billing, and payroll. The ideal candidate is reliable, accurate, self starter.

Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as Sage.
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
Prepare payroll
Assist with accounts payable and process billings
Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and budget reports for internal review

Requirements

Experience with Sage accounting software a plus.
Strong understanding of GAAP standards and core financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting
Ability to perform typing accurately for data entry tasks
Familiarity with payroll processing, tax regulations, and financial report writing
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
Strong Microsoft Office Suites skills

Looking for someone to assist our small business with its bookkeeping, billing, payroll and spreadsheet needs. Part-time with some flexibility.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
