Full Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Representative to join our veterinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess relevant experience in veterinary assistance or similar fields.

Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinary staff in providing care and treatment to animals
- Handle animal restraint with care and compassion (we are a Low Stress Certified practice)
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in animal housing areas
- Monitor and record animal behavior and health status
- Provide basic grooming and feeding assistance to animals
- Support veterinarians during examinations and procedures
- Interact with pet owners to provide updates on their animals

- Be on your feet most of the day, every day, and sometimes lift things over 25 pounds.

Experience:
- Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant, Kennel Attendant, or in Dog Training is preferred
- Knowledge of animal care, restraint, and handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on pet care
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
