Full Job Description

Colton’s Point Marina is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Office Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative and customer service operations of the marina while helping ensure customers receive a professional and positive experience.

The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, comfortable working with customers, able to multitask, and willing to learn the systems and processes used in a marine-service environment.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations and administrative tasks
Provide friendly and professional customer service in person, over the phone, and through email
Assist customers with questions, requests, accounts, and general marina services
Process sales and transactions using the marina’s point-of-sale system
Maintain accurate customer and business records
Assist with invoicing, payments, bookkeeping, and other financial/administrative duties
Coordinate and communicate with customers regarding service and marina-related needs
Assist with service management and scheduling as needed
Assist with parts management, including tracking, organizing, and ordering parts
Communicate with vendors and suppliers when necessary
Use Microsoft Office programs and other computer-based systems to complete daily tasks
Maintain organized files, documents, and customer information
Assist with general office organization and other duties as needed
Learn and utilize the marina’s point-of-sale and business management systems

Qualifications

Required:

Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to learn new software and systems
Professional and dependable attitude

Preferred:

Previous office management or administrative experience
Experience in the marine or boating industry
Experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, or financial transactions
Experience with point-of-sale systems
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications

Marine industry experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for marina-specific systems, procedures, and the point-of-sale platform.
