Full Job Description

Office Clerk and Logistics Coordinator

TFM North America is a chemical wholesale company with a subsidiary company managing property investments. We are seeking an experienced full-time office clerk and logistics coordinator. This position requires attention to details and high accuracy standards. The ideal candidates would be detail oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with multiple teams, including vendors, custom brokers, forwarders, warehouses and the sales team
Plan and track shipments
Monitor inbound cargo status
Communicate with shipping agents/steamship lines for cargo release and delivery
Accurate input of various types of data in to the inventory software and spreadsheets
Prepare accurate reports for upper management
Coordinate with warehouses, freight companies and clients regarding to order release, product availability and shipping arrangement
Manage inventory level and arrange orders based on inventory forecast
Perform general administrative duties, such as document filing, record management and basic bookkeeping for the subsidiary company
Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:

US work authorization (required)
2+ years experience (preferred)
Accurate data entry, keyboard skills with type 45 WPM
Proficient with MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel – basic formula, etc.) and Google sheets
Experience with international shipping (preferred)
Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated who is willing and able to take initiative and multitask
Requires a great deal of flexibility to work effectively within an environment that has quickly changing deadlines
Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive with a strong work ethic
