Full Job Description

La Michoacana Premium is a growing organization with multiple operating companies. We pride ourselves on providing quality products and excellent service while maintaining strong financial and operational standards. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Payroll Processor to support our payroll operations across more than 10 companies.

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Payroll Processor with proven payroll experience. This role is ideal for a qualified professional who can independently manage payroll responsibilities, ensure compliance, and maintain accuracy across multiple entities. Since we are a small company, we value team members who are proactive, adaptable, and willing to contribute wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Process accurate and timely payroll for more than 10 companies.
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy.
Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, garnishments, and other payroll adjustments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits and reconciliations.
Coordinate with management regarding employee changes and payroll updates.
Handle payroll-related inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.
Assist with year-end payroll reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience.
Experience handling payroll for multiple companies or entities preferred.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, taxes, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency with ADP payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
