Full Job Description

Want to join a successful team in Bus, RV and Truck in Ventura County? Corporation is established and successful tenure. Seeking a top professional Parts Director with 5-10+ years of auto parts experience and leadership.

Parts Director responsibilities include, but not limited to, sales fleet bus, CNG bus, commercial parts & filters, managing department performance, strong people skills, meticulous inventory management, and financial analysis.

Experience Required
Minimum of 5+ years of auto parts experience. Schedule is standard business hours, Mondays-Fridays, and occasional weekends. Thorough knowledge of auto parts. High level of knowledge of business system operations. Good communicator and people person. It’s a nice area to live in and the people are great.

Compensation
Compensation includes strong base salary and percentage of department. Fringe package that includes medical, vacation (up to 4 weeks based on tenure), 401k, sick pay, etc. $85-$150k+, based on experience. We welcome your response to our solicitation

Responsibilities:

· Parts sales & revenue growth focused

· Inventory control- major warehouse & hub & spoke

· Hires, motivates, counsels and monitors performance of staff.

· Complete financial statement responsibilities including expense control and attainment of revenue goals

· Maintain superior customer service

· Work directly with Employees and Customers to develop relationships and help bridge disconnects in the sales process

· Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network

· Directs sales efforts, including a telemarketing program to keep in contact with customers.

· Attends Managers meetings.

· Analyzes departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Minimum 5-10+ years of automotive management experience

· Valid Driver’s License or ID.

· Consistent track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals

· Knowledge computers

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ambitious, goal oriented, and able to work within a dynamic environment
