We are seeking a highly qualified, motivated Staff Accountant to work in our Corporate office. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years experience. He or she should be prepared to demonstrate proven and measurable results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare accrual or cashed-based journal entries as needed
Review financial statements and explain large variances
Review with site staff and accounts payable for coding reclassification
Review accounts receivable and resident ledgers
Complete bank reconciliations
Complete quarterly management report packages for lenders
Process and reconcile mortgage statements
Process and record real estate taxes, school taxes, and building insurance bills

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance

Requirements:

Must have 2 years prior experience working with bank reconciliations, local, state, and federal
tax filings.
Strong communication skills, oral and written.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Ability to prioritize tasks while working on numerous projects simultaneously.
Experience in Yardi Software, not mandatory.
