Job Title: Front Desk Associate

About Us:
At Florence Dental Studio, we are committed to providing exceptional dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our team of dedicated professionals works together to ensure our patients receive the best care and customer service. We are looking for a highly professional, friendly, and organized Front Desk Associate to join our team at our Florence and Cherry Hill locations.

Position Summary:
The Front Desk Associate is a key player in our dental office, serving as the first point of contact for patients. You will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients and visitors, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.

We are looking for a candidate that is available Full-Time and on the journey to begin a long-term career at our office! Part-time or seasonal candidates will not be considered. We encourage all qualified applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Reception & Customer Service: Greet patients warmly, check them in, and provide information about office procedures.
Appointment Scheduling & Coordination: Manage and schedule patient appointments accurately while optimizing the dental team's time.
Insurance Verification & Billing: Handle insurance verification, process claims, and manage patient billing inquiries.
Records Management: Maintain accurate patient records, including updating personal and insurance information in the system.
Phone & Email Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and provide information regarding services, insurance, and appointment details.
Office Organization: Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure a seamless flow of operations and patient care.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve patient concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Experience as a Front Desk Associate, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role (dental or medical office experience is a plus).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer and telephone skills.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with dental office procedures, terminology, and insurance processes is preferred.
Proficiency with office software and dental management systems (e.g., Dentrix Ascend) is preferred.
Comfort with learning new systems and technologies.
A positive, friendly attitude with a professional demeanor.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
