Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Part-Time Server, where your enthusiasm and exceptional customer service skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering prompt and friendly service, managing food and beverage orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a lively, fast-paced environment. Your culinary knowledge, beverage expertise, and attention to detail will help elevate our restaurant’s reputation for excellence. This position offers flexible hours perfect for those passionate about hospitality and eager to grow within the food industry.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently
Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper presentation standards and adhering to food safety protocols
Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times

Qualifications

Previous food service or restaurant experience with a focus on fine dining or casual dining environments
Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently
Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Culinary experience or kitchen support background is advantageous but not required
