Pastry Cook Job Description Job Summary

POSANA DOWNTOWN () is a high-volume restaurant, specializing in gluten free cuisine offering both daily service and small in-house banquets. We are looking for a skilled Pastry Cook with at least one year of baking experience in high-volume, upscale restaurant environments. Experience with gluten-free production of breads, pastries, and plated desserts with strong attention to dietary restrictions and allergens is preferred. Creativity, flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality and cleanliness is expected.

Restaurant Hours

Wednesday-Sunday Dinner Service Only
Baking Hours 6am- 2pm

Pay

$18-$20/hr

Qualifications

1 year prior baking experience
Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Have held a BOH position in a high volume/upscale restaurant establishment
Have an understanding of dietary restrictions and allergies

Responsibilities

Gluten free fabrication for breads, pastries and plated desserts following a recipe
Small in house banquet preparations
Maintain a high standard of quality and cleanliness
Receive and put away orders with proper FIFO procedures
Creativity and positivity are welcomed and expected
