Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team and drive our HR initiatives forward. In this vital role, you will serve as a key partner in managing human capital processes, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Your energetic approach will help us attract top talent, develop our workforce, and support organizational growth through strategic HR management. This position offers and exciting opportunity to influence all facets of human resources operations while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties

· Coordinate recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing offers.

· Lead new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of employment documentation.

· Coordinate employee retention initiatives and conduct exit interviews.

· Administer employee benefit programs and assist employees with benefit questions and enrollment.

· Maintain personnel files and HRIS records.

· Assist supervisors with employee relations, coaching, and progressive discipline documentation.

· Maintain employee handbook and HR policies.

· Coordinate required safety training and new employee safety orientation.

· Maintain OSHA injury and illness records (300, 300A, and 301 logs).

· Coordinate workers' compensation claims, return-to-work activities, and incident documentation.

· Schedule and track required compliance and safety training.

· Support the company Safety Committee and follow up on corrective actions identified by operations.

· Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

· Assist with payroll administration and HR reporting as needed.

· Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

· 3–5 years of HR experience; manufacturing experience preferred.

· Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, workers' compensation, and employment practices.

· Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.

· Experience with SAGE HRMS, Crystal & ADP is a plus.

· Proficient with MS Excel
