General Manager - SpringHill Suites by Marriott Asheville | Asheville, NC

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Asheville is seeking a dynamic, results-driven General Manager to lead our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service, team development, and operational excellence. It's a perfect opportunity to get involved with a company that focuses on all guest touch points and attention to details that leave lasting impression on our guests. We provide a great deal of focus on developing and training our managers to grow within our company.

This is also a great opportunity for a well-seasoned FOM/AGM who is ready to take the next step in their career to become a General Manager!

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and sales.
Drive revenue growth through effective revenue management, sales initiatives, and market positioning.
Ensure compliance with Marriott International brand standards, policies, and procedures.
Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and team members to build a strong, service-focused culture.
Monitor guest satisfaction scores and online reputation to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Reaching Member Enrollment Goals
Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance including profit and loss accountability.
Maintain strong communication with ownership and leadership teams regarding performance and strategic goals.
Foster positive relationships within the local community and tourism partners.

Qualifications:

Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience with Marriott brands preferred but not required.
Strong Leadership, Time Management, and Organization Skills are a must.
Strong understanding of hotel inventory/financials, and operational controls.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Experience with Marriott systems and brand platforms preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
