The Director of Sales is one of the most important leadership positions within our organization. This role is not for someone looking to manage from the sidelines. We are looking for a proven sales leader who can coach, mentor, inspire, and develop agents while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and production.

This position is earned, not given. To be considered for this position, applicants should have personally closed at least 100 real estate transactions and have experience coaching or leading other agents to production success.

Position Overview

The Director of Sales is responsible for developing, coaching, and holding accountable the agents of The MORE Real Estate Group. This leader will drive production, improve agent performance, increase conversion rates, and help create a culture of excellence throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate has extensive real estate sales and transaction experience, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

This person is highly respected by agents because they have "been in the trenches" and can confidently guide agents through contracts, negotiations, difficult transactions, client conversations, and business-building strategies.

They are a coach first, a leader second, and an example always.

Key ResponsibilitiesAgent Recruiting & Talent Development

Lead onboarding and training for all newly hired agents.
Develop personalized success plans for new and existing agents.
Mentor agents through every stage of business growth.
Build a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Coaching & Performance Management

Conduct weekly one-on-one coaching sessions.
Lead weekly CORE training and sales development meetings.
Facilitate group coaching and accountability sessions.
Provide ongoing support for agent business planning and goal achievement.
Conduct formal performance reviews and growth evaluations.
Identify skill gaps and implement development plans.

Production & KPI Management

Track and report agent production metrics.
Monitor lead conversion rates, appointments, contracts written, pendings, closings, and pipeline activity.
Analyze KPI trends and develop action plans for improvement.
Hold agents accountable to agreed-upon standards and goals.
Manage scorecards and performance dashboards.
Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that increase overall team production.

Sales Leadership

Drive a culture of production, professionalism, and client service excellence.
Assist agents in improving conversion, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Lead sales meetings and production-focused discussions.
Reinforce best practices and company standards.
Encourage healthy competition, growth, and accountability.

Transaction & Contract Support

Serve as a resource for agents navigating complex transactions.
Provide guidance on contracts, negotiations, disclosures, and transaction strategy.
Be available to support agents when challenges arise.
Attend appointments, listing presentations, buyer consultations, and negotiations with newer agents as needed.
Assist agents in overcoming obstacles that could prevent a transaction from closing successfully.

Leadership & Culture

Lead by example through professionalism, consistency, and integrity.
Foster a positive, growth-oriented office environment.
Partner with ownership and operations leadership to drive company initiatives.
Support company events, trainings, masterminds, and conferences.
Help protect and strengthen the culture that makes The MORE Real Estate Group unique.

Qualifications Required

Active California Real Estate License.
Extensive real estate sales and transaction experience.
Proven history of production and successful client representation.
Demonstrated leadership and coaching experience.
Strong understanding of contracts, negotiations, disclosures, and transaction management.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to inspire, influence, and motivate others.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lead difficult conversations with confidence and professionalism.

Preferred

Experience leading real estate teams.
Coaching, mentoring, or training experience.
Familiarity with KPI tracking and performance management.
Experience building systems that drive agent productivity and accountability.
