X-Ray Radiologic Technician

Position Summary:

As the X-Ray Radiologic Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the retention of long-term quality patients for the clinic through the execution of service delivery systems so the patient’s needs and expectations are exceeded. You will be taking primarily lumbar, cervical, and knee x-rays. You will be assisting the medical provider in delivering care and completing administrative duties in our fast-paced clinic. As a X-Ray Radiologic Technician, it will be required that you have a high level of interaction with others as well as participate in educating the patients.

Performance Objectives:

Take X-Rays for new and existing patients based off of orders from the medical provider
Complete patient vitals, obtaining and documenting patient history and updating patient information in the chart/ EMR
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records according to HIPPA guidelines
Restock exam rooms, perform cleaning routine and manage supplies to keep inventory current
Ability to read and interpret medical orders/protocols and diagnostic test results with supervisor
Take quick action with the physician and/or physician assistant in handling and resolving complex patient matters
Ensure seamless, efficient patient flow on medical side by working with the team
Assist with procedures (blood draws, injections, sterilizing instruments, etc.)
Reliably keep a clear line of communication with provider to deliver feedback and progress of patient treatment plan
Educate the patient on the services provided in the clinic
Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude

Ability to multitask while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures
Understand, align with and communicate the clinics mission, vision, and values
Desire to define and take massive action to accomplish your own personal, professional and financial goals

Education & Experience:

Current Radiologic Technician license in the State of Nevada
Medical Assistant graduate of an approved school preferred
Familiarity with medical billing procedures
Ultrasound experience preferred but not required
1-2 years experience in a multi-physician practice preferred, but not required.
