Job Summary
IT Operations Manager (ERP & Business Systems) Kennesaw, GA | On-site | Full-Time | Mid-Senior Level
About j5create
j5create designs innovative technology solutions that simplify connectivity and productivity for consumers around the world. As we grow and modernize our business systems, we're seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead our ERP environment and business applications while providing hands-on support for the technology that keeps our organization running.
If you enjoy solving complex business-systems challenges, improving operational processes, and working across departments to deliver technology solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Summary
j5create is hiring its first dedicated IT Systems Manager to serve as the company’s primary internal resource for ERP, business applications, and day-to-day IT systems support. The immediate priority is to support ERP implementation, migration, testing, go-live, and stabilization.
This is a hands-on manager role, not an executive or strategy-only position. The right candidate will be experienced enough to work independently, coordinate external specialists, and support non-technical users, while remaining comfortable solving practical systems and IT issues directly.
As j5create grows, the role can evolve into a broader business systems partner that helps teams solve operational problems through better use of technology, process, and data.
What You’ll Do
ERP Implementation & Stabilization
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for ERP implementation and ongoing system support.
- Support data migration and validation, user acceptance testing, go-live readiness, issue tracking, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Troubleshoot ERP issues involving purchasing, inventory, warehouse operations, order management, finance, permissions, reporting, and master data.
- Coordinate priorities, open issues, configuration requests, and testing with ERP consultants and software vendors.
Day-to-Day IT & Systems Support
- Own day-to-day support for business applications and internal IT systems, including Microsoft 365, user access, and operational software.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding, accounts and permissions, software licensing, device coordination, and asset records.
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, access, and application issues; escalate specialized infrastructure or security needs to external partners.
- Maintain practical documentation for systems, vendors, licenses, access, and recurring support procedures.
Vendor Coordination, Documentation & Training
- Coordinate with the MSP, ERP implementation partner, and software vendors; follow issues through to resolution.
- Document key workflows, system procedures, issue resolutions, and user instructions in a clear, usable format.
- Train and support employees who may not be highly technical, using patient and practical communication.
- Identify recurring system or process gaps and recommend realistic improvements in partnership with business teams.
