Full Job Description

Mid-Atlantic Crane has been designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing overhead cranes and hoists for more than 45 years. We support industrial and manufacturing customers across the eastern United States and are known for delivering high-quality equipment and dependable field service.

We are currently hiring a Part Time Service Support Administrator to join our Service Department. This role is responsible for supporting revenue growth through customer outreach, inspection renewal sales, service quote follow-up, lead generation, and customer relationship management.

What You'll Do

As a Service Support Administrator, you will:

Follow up on inspection renewals, service quotes, and repair proposals to increase customer response and conversion rates
Contact customers by phone, email, and virtual meeting platforms to discuss service needs and answer questions
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers through proactive communication and follow-up
Identify upcoming service, inspection, and repair opportunities within existing accounts
Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, referrals, and other prospecting activities
Follow up on inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities
Track and manage sales opportunities using CRM and company systems
Prepare activity reports and provide updates on pipeline status and sales performance
Coordinate with service and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sold work to scheduling and execution
Maintain customer records, documentation, and account information
Support continuous improvement of sales processes and customer communication workflows
Provide general administrative support as needed

What We're Looking For

Preferred experience includes:

1–3 years of experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, business development, or a related role
Experience with outbound calling, customer follow-up, or sales prospecting
Experience using CRM, ERP, or customer management software
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Experience in manufacturing, construction, industrial services, or related industries

Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
Confidence communicating with customers by phone, email, and virtual meetings
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-up activities simultaneously
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining customer and sales records
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
A positive, professional, and customer-focused approach

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
