Full Job Description

Our growing pediatric therapy practice is seeking a Marketing & Referrals Coordinator who can help coordinate marketing activities while also playing an active role in referral management and patient conversion support. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role designed for someone who is proactive, organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing multiple moving pieces.

This is not a traditional marketing-only position. Success in this role is not measured simply by social media activity or lead volume. This role is directly connected to referral growth, patient onboarding support, and helping ensure marketing and outreach efforts translate into qualified referrals and new patients.

The ideal person is a strong executor and relationship-builder who enjoys being involved in both outreach efforts and the operational side of helping families move through the referral process.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Referral Growth Coordination

Coordinate ongoing marketing initiatives across social media, email campaigns, community outreach, events, and referral development activities.Support implementation of digital marketing efforts including Google Ads, social media campaigns, and online visibility initiatives
Assist with coordinating website updates, content coordination, SEO-related efforts, and marketing materials
Help maintain and strengthen relationships with referral sources including pediatricians, schools, physicians, community organizations, and local partners
Coordinate community outreach activities including events, networking opportunities, and promotional initiatives
Track referral activity and help identify which outreach and marketing efforts are generating qualified patient referrals
Collaborate with leadership on ongoing growth initiatives, marketing priorities, and referral development opportunities
Help monitor referral trends, patient conversion activity, and follow-through within the intake process

Intake & Referral Support

Serve as the first point of contact for incoming patient referrals and inquiries
Assist families through the early stages of the intake and scheduling process
Help route and organize referral sources from physicians, schools, community partners, advertising channels, and online inquiries
Support timely communication, follow-up, and handoff to the patient services team
Maintain accurate tracking and documentation related to referrals, outreach activity, and patient onboarding support
Work collaboratively with internal administrative and clinical teams to help ensure referrals are being managed effectively

Qualifications:

Required

Experience in healthcare administration, intake coordination, referrals, scheduling, outreach or related support roles
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently
Professionalism, accountability, and discretion with sensitive information

Preferred

Experience in pediatric therapy, healthcare services, medical offices, or similar environments
Exposure to marketing coordination, community outreach, referral development, or social media management
Familiarity with patient intake workflows or healthcare-related customer service

Work Environment

Hybrid role based in the Raleigh, NC area
Combination of remote work, office collaboration, and occasional community outreach/events
Must maintain a quiet, secure, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace
Reliable internet required

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
