Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Manager to oversee and coordinate various events, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable events. This role requires a proactive approach to managing logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and execute events from conception to completion, including corporate functions, weddings, banquets, and other special occasions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and negotiated effectively.
Coordinate with vendors such as caterers, decorators, and entertainment to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.
Develop marketing strategies to promote events and increase attendance.
Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client’s experience.
Prepare contracts for vendors and clients while ensuring all terms are clearly communicated.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.

Experience

Proven experience in event planning or management, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients and vendors.
Proficiency in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
Experience in negotiating contracts with vendors to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Knowledge of banquet operations and service standards is a plus.
