HOUSEKEEPER/ROOM ATTENDANT -

This is a Full-Time (16-24 hrs) position, with weekend days needed.

The Henson is a newly renovated, thoughtfully designed 16 room boutique inn and restaurant founded by The Hunter Houses and the Michelin-starred chefs behind Contra and Wildair in NYC which opened in May 2024. We offer a fun and fulfilling work environment working alongside owners and other team members passionate about exceptional hospitality and cleanliness.

**We have high standards in our hotel so we are looking for a team member who will support our desire to have very clean rooms for our guests and take pride in their job!**

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail oriented and professional Room Attendant to join our team. If you have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and experience cleaning we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
-Properly and efficiently clean guest rooms including changing linens, emptying garbage, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms
-Clean multiple rooms each day (an average of 4-6)
-Refresh rooms for in-house guests
-Assist with laundering towels and cleaning rags (bed linens are from a service)
-Setting up in-room amenities such as portable cribs and dog packages
-Cleaning common spaces and making sure they are properly set for the day
-Help with wedding and hotel buyouts by maintaining guest rooms and assisting
-Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile
-Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items in a timely manner
-Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments

You Must Be:
-Reliable and show up for shifts on time and ready to work
-Able to work independently and also with other team members including our lovely head housekeeper
-A team player with a desire to support our standard of exceptional hospitality
-Positive and contribute to the healthy work environment we pride ourselves on

Qualifications:
-1+ year cleaning experience
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
