Join a dynamic healthcare environment as a Dental Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the success of our dental practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate patient care, and ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic. Your expertise in medical office management, combined with your passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences, will help foster a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties

Manage all aspects of dental office operations, including scheduling, billing, and patient flow to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction.
Coordinate treatment plans between dentists, hygienists, and patients, ensuring clear communication of procedures, costs, and follow-up care.
Oversee medical records management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.
Supervise staff including front desk personnel, dental assistants, and hygienists; provide training, performance evaluations, and support human resources functions.
Handle fiscal management responsibilities such as budgeting, financial reporting, and overseeing collections to ensure practice profitability.
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA standards and JCAHO accreditation requirements.
Utilize practice management software to streamline operations—experience with open dental is highly valued.
Manage insurance claims processing and coordinate with managed care providers to optimize reimbursement rates.
Facilitate patient education on treatment options and financial arrangements to improve case acceptance rates.
Lead quality assurance initiatives to uphold clinical standards and improve patient safety in acute care or hospital-like settings when applicable.
Support medical administrative functions such as appointment scheduling, patient intake procedures, and medical records documentation.
Implement office policies that promote efficiency while fostering a positive work environment aligned with healthcare management best practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing a dental or medical office with strong leadership skills in supervising staff and overseeing daily operations.
Extensive knowledge of dental office procedures along with familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like open dental.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards.
Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating treatment plans with patients and team members effectively.
Prior experience in practice management within a dental clinic or healthcare setting is essential; veterinary or hospital experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in medical records and billing processes.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry or healthcare administration enhances performance in this role.
