Duties

Engage professionally with customers and third-party drivers
Accurately log driver information, including arrival times, door assignments, and departures
Review and confirm the daily receiving schedule
Verify incoming shipments by matching receiving documents with bills of lading (BOLs)
Proactively print pick sheets for scheduled outbound deliveries
Communicate status updates (e.g., late trucks, early arrivals, no-shows) to management and log them in the system
Maintain and update an organized inventory database with accurate information
Answer incoming calls and direct them efficiently to the appropriate team members
Communicate regularly with warehouse personnel via phone, walkie-talkie, or in person by entering the warehouse
Keep detailed and organized documentation of all shipping and receiving activities
File and organize both physical and digital paperwork
Operate office equipment safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures
Participate in required safety and educational training sessions
Follow all company security protocols and procedures
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience in Datex FootPrint.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask with accuracy and attention to detail.
Typing speed of 45+ WPM.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior warehouse experience.
Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma preferred.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Basic math skills.
Strong critical thinking abilities.
Strong computer skills.
Successful completion of pre-hire screening (background check and drug screening).

Other Requirements: Candidates should:

Be flexible for overtime with little or no notice.
Embrace effective communication and collaboration.
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions as well as company policies.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and productivity guidelines.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner in communications.

Schedule:

8-hour shift
Monday to Friday
Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (or until the job is complete)
Overtime as neede

Pay: $21.00 per hour
