Front of House Manager

Spare Birdie & Goodfolks | Cedar Park / Georgetown, TX

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Front of House Manager to join our team and help support daily operations at both Spare Birdie and Goodfolks.

This position will work alongside the General Manager at each location and help with day-to-day floor management, staff support, guest service, and shift coverage. The schedule will include shifts at both locations based on the needs of each restaurant.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working with the team, and helping make sure each shift runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

· Help manage daily front-of-house operations and keep shifts running smoothly.

· Support the General Manager and other managers with daily needs.

· Be present on the floor and available to both guests and employees.

· Particpate pre-shift meetings and communicate expectations for the shift.

· Coach and support servers, bartenders, hosts, cashiers, and other FOH team members.

· Assist with training and onboarding new employees.

· Handle guest concerns and help resolve issues as they come up.

· Make sure service, cleanliness, and hospitality standards are being followed.

· Assist with opening and closing responsibilities.

· Help oversee cash handling and POS procedures.

· Support large parties, events, and busy shifts as needed.

· Help identify staffing, service, or operational issues and communicate them to the General Manager.

· Provide management coverage at either location when needed.

· Follow and reinforce company policies, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service.

What We're Looking For

· Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience.

· Comfortable leading a team and working alongside employees during service.

· Strong guest-service and communication skills.

· Dependable, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment.

· Able to coach employees and hold the team accountable when needed.

· Willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

· Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.

· Reliable transportation and ability to work at both our Cedar Park and Georgetown locations.

· Toast POS experience is a plus.

About the Role

This is a hands-on management position for someone who likes being involved in the day-to-day operation of a restaurant. You'll work closely with the General Managers and teams at both locations to provide extra leadership, support busy shifts, and help create a great experience for our guests.
