Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Project Manager to lead and oversee complex refrigeration projects within the industrial and commercial sectors. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of ammonia refrigeration system installations, upgrades, and maintenance, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and aligned with client specifications. Your expertise will drive project success through meticulous planning, team leadership, and adherence to industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about managing large-scale infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and completion of ammonia refrigeration projects from inception to closeout, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate construction timelines and resource allocation effectively.
Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, controlling expenditures, and preparing accurate construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools.
Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to construction plans, schematics, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high safety standards.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately to guide installation teams and verify project specifications are met.
Ensure construction regulatory compliance by staying updated on industry regulations related to ammonia systems and environmental safety protocols.
Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and safety records using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam.
Lead project teams by managing staffing levels, assigning tasks effectively, and fostering a collaborative work environment focused on quality delivery.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control measures, and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience in managing ammonia refrigeration or similar industrial refrigeration projects within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of construction regulations related to ammonia systems, environmental safety standards, and industrial safety protocols.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; experience with Primavera P6 is highly preferred.
Skilled in construction estimating using HeavyBid or equivalent software; capable of preparing accurate cost projections for large-scale projects.
Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans review.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role while coordinating multiple stakeholders effectively.
Familiarity with civil 3D for site design coordination and schematics review is advantageous.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for clear collaboration with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Knowledge of construction scheduling techniques including managing complex infrastructure projects’ timelines and resource allocations.
