Account Executive / Sales Professional

Illuminate Digital is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Account Executive / Sales Professional to help local and regional businesses grow through strategic websites, SEO, branding, and digital marketing.

This is not a high-pressure sales environment.

We believe great sales starts with listening. You’ll spend your time getting to know business owners, understanding their goals and challenges, and recommending solutions that can create meaningful, measurable growth.

In addition to commissions on new business, you’ll have the opportunity to earn recurring monthly commissions on retained client accounts. As you build a strong portfolio of satisfied clients, your recurring income has the potential to grow along with it.

You’ll also have the support of an experienced team handling website design, SEO, onboarding, and client success—so you can focus on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping clients grow.

What You’ll DoDevelop New Business

Build relationships with business owners and executive decision-makers.
Generate opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community involvement.
Respond to inbound leads and marketing-generated opportunities.
Conduct discovery conversations to understand each prospect’s goals, challenges, and opportunities.
Present customized website, SEO, branding, and digital marketing solutions.
Guide qualified prospects through the decision-making process and close new business.
Maintain an active, organized sales pipeline.

Grow Existing Client Relationships

Our goal is not simply to make a sale. We want to become a trusted long-term business partner.

You’ll:

Maintain relationships with existing clients.
Conduct periodic account reviews.
Learn how each client’s business is evolving.
Identify additional opportunities to support their growth.
Recommend additional Illuminate Digital services when they genuinely make sense.
Help ensure clients continue receiving strong value from our partnership.

Be Active in the Business Community

Relationships matter in this role.

You’ll have opportunities to:

Attend networking events.
Participate in Chamber of Commerce and local business functions.
Develop referral partnerships.
Build relationships with entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Represent Illuminate Digital professionally throughout the community.

Collaborate With Our Team

You won’t be selling something and disappearing.

You’ll work closely with our website, SEO, marketing, onboarding, and client success teams to:

Clearly communicate client goals and expectations.
Help projects get off to a strong start.
Create a smooth transition from sale to onboarding.
Share client feedback and ideas.
Help us continuously improve the customer experience.

Digital marketing experience is helpful, but it is not required.

We can teach our services and processes. We’re looking for someone who brings initiative, curiosity, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to help businesses succeed.

Compensation

This is a performance-based sales opportunity with uncapped earning potential.

Your First Two Months

You’ll receive:

$1,000 per month guaranteed training pay during your first two months

This period is designed to help you learn our services, sales process, systems, and approach to working with clients.

Ongoing Compensation

Your compensation includes:

Competitive commissions on new business.
Recurring monthly commissions on retained client accounts.
Unlimited earning potential.
No commission cap.
Opportunities to grow income as your client portfolio grows.

Expected Earnings

Individual earnings will vary based on performance, activity, sales volume, and client retention.

A motivated Account Executive who consistently meets sales expectations can reasonably target:

Year 1: Approximately $40,000–$50,000+ in commission earnings

Year 2: Approximately $80,000+ in commission earnings

Top performers who consistently exceed expectations have the opportunity to earn substantially more.
