Position Overview

A warm, professional family seeks an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Full Time Housekeeper to support the smooth operation of their active household. This is an excellent opportunity for a career-minded domestic professional who enjoys maintaining a beautifully organized home while providing occasional family support in a dynamic environment with young children. (Family employees a Live-In Au-Pair so child care support is very rare)

The ideal candidate is bright, enthusiastic, reliable, adaptable, and proactive. They will thrive in a household with evolving schedules, appreciate direct communication, and take pride in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Household Management

Perform detailed cleaning throughout the residence, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
Maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas to a high standard
Make beds and change linens regularly
Manage laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and garment care
Wash, dry, unload, and properly store dishes
Organize closets, storage spaces, and household inventory
Restock household and personal care supplies
Manage garbage, recycling, and household waste removal
Pick up toys, clutter, and maintain overall household order

Family Support

Provide occasional childcare assistance as needed
Assist with daily household routines and family logistics
Prepare healthy family meals and light meal prep
Grocery shop and run household errands
Support the family’s evolving needs with flexibility and professionalism

Pet Care

Provide care for a friendly family dog, including walks and routine support (11 year old Labrador)

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

Previous experience in a private household setting
Strong housekeeping and organizational skills
A positive, can-do attitude and excellent work ethic
Confidence working independently and taking initiative
Flexibility and adaptability in a busy household environment
Strong communication skills and comfort with direct communication
A warm, professional demeanor and ability to integrate naturally into family life
Experience supporting households with young children
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
Authorization to work in the United States

Schedule

Monday through Friday
30 hours per week guaranteed
Typical schedule: In between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Flexible)
