Full Job Description

Our neighboring concepts situated in the historic downtown Dayton Arcade, Table 33 (table33dayton.com) and Lucho (luchodayton.com) are currently hiring multiple Back of House Employees

If you are passionate about hospitality and have an unwavering commitment to excellence with the ability to anticipate guests’ needs, we invite you to become an integral part of our team. Positions include Dishwasher, Pastry Chef Assistant, and Line Cooks. Join our team and work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment!

Position Overview

Preparation and execution of meals in alignment with our established menu and quality benchmarks.
Creating and testing new recipes, as well as modifying existing ones to suit customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Handle customer complaints and special requests, as well as liaising with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
Enforce compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and waste management practices.
Support in stock management, adherence to food safety practices, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper functioning of kitchen tools.
Collaborating with the chef, sous chef, and other BOH team members to maintain excellence and uniformity in dish preparation.
Coordinating with FOH personnel to guarantee prompt and precise order service.

Qualifications

Have at least three years of experience in a similar role in a reputable restaurant.
Possess knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
The ability to follow recipes and instructions.
Show attention to detail, creativity, and presentation skills.
Exhibit teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A food handler's certificate is preferred for the sous chef.
Proficiency in English and dependable transportation are required!
You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and follow directions.
You must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
You must be flexible and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
