Full Job Description

Sanitation Supervisor

Description:

Ensure and maintain the high facility standards stated by following: Company Policies and Safety Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), BRCGS, Protocol and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements
Perform supervisorial duties and manage sanitation team members to carry out tasks. Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and conduct trainings as needed.
Responsible for maintaining a clean site; inside and outside of the facility, the plant as well as the office, break room, and restrooms.
Clean, sanitize and wash all equipment and materials within the facility to written standards, using cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals that have been approved and supplied by Management.
Handle all cleaning chemicals properly with the proper training.
Perform titration of chemicals as needed.
While the equipment is being cleaned, it will also be inspected for any missing or damaged pieces. If anything is found, issues must be reported to Management immediately
Ensure that the trash and recycling bins inside the facility are taken out
Complete all appropriate documentation properly in a timely manner (same day).
Appropriately lift and/or unload containers of product or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Participate in food safety and HACCP meetings as necessary
Report all pest issues, food safety, general safety and equipment issues to department Supervisor and/or Management

Preferred Qualifications/ Expectations:

Experience in safe food handling, HACCP, BRC, food production or experience working in a restaurant.
Willing and able to learn how to operate food processing equipment safely.
Appropriately lift/unload containers weighing up to 50 pounds easily.
Be able to read and comprehend English instructions and directions.
Good hand/eye coordination and willing to do repetitive work
Have a positive attitude, be able to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
Willing to contribute to a safe working environment by following all safety requirements and instructions. Absolutely refrain from doing hazardous tasks/not follow proper directions that jeopardizes the safety of yourself and others.
Work a flexible schedule with potential overtime.
Work up to 10 hours a day, any day of the week.
Must be able to stand during the entire shift
Willing to do repetitive work.
Have excellent work and attendance record and attend all meetings as required
Able to learn and complete a variety of duties as assigned

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
