Client Advisor – Eleventy

Eleventy is seeking a passionate, motivated, and client-focused Salesperson / Client Advisor to join our team. As a Salesperson at Eleventy, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and building long-term client relationships.

This role is rooted in Eleventy’s four key pillars: Client Engagement, Unparalleled Service, Product Expertise, and Commitment to Quality. While each pillar is essential to the Eleventy experience, clienteling is one of the most important parts of this position.

We are looking for someone who understands that luxury retail is about more than selling product — it is about creating relationships, memorable moments, and experiences that make clients feel happy, valued, and excited to return.

About the Role

Clienteling is a core expectation of this position. Salespeople are expected to actively build, maintain, and grow a personal client book through consistent outreach, thoughtful follow-up, appointment setting, and long-term relationship building.

A minimum of 30% of total sales is expected to come from client-driven business, including repeat clients, appointments, outreach, referrals, and re-engaged clients.

This role is best suited for someone who wants to own their business. We encourage our salespeople to think outside the box, bring forward new ideas, and take an active role in growing their client book. Whether it is an idea for client gifting, a personalized outreach strategy, an in-store client event, a styling appointment, or a special experience for your top clients, we are open to creative ideas that strengthen client relationships and build meaningful rapport.

This position is not for someone looking to simply clock in and clock out. We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in the business, takes pride in the client experience, and is motivated to grow both personally and professionally with the company.

Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement

Actively engage with clients through personalized and thoughtful communication, creating memorable interactions that build excitement, trust, and long-term relationships.

Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring frequent touchpoints before, during, and after their visit to enhance customer loyalty, satisfaction, and repeat business.

Take ownership of building and maintaining a personal client book by following up after purchases, reaching out regarding new arrivals, sale opportunities, styling suggestions, special events, and product recommendations based on each client’s preferences.

Use clienteling tools and downtime productively to review client history, identify follow-up opportunities, set appointments, re-engage past clients, and create reasons for clients to return to the store.

Develop a deep understanding of each client’s lifestyle, wardrobe needs, sizing, fit preferences, and shopping habits in order to create a highly personalized experience that encourages repeat visits and long-term loyalty.

2. Unparalleled Service

Deliver a welcoming and family-like environment from the moment clients enter the store, making them feel valued, listened to, and cared for through an experience without equal in the industry.

Anticipate and address client needs with careful attention to detail, ensuring every step of their shopping experience is seamless, enjoyable, and elevated.

Provide styling guidance, build complete looks, suggest complementary pieces, and create an experience that feels thoughtful, effortless, and personal.

Create a luxury experience that extends beyond the transaction, ensuring clients feel connected to the brand and confident returning to Eleventy for future wardrobe needs.

3. Product Expertise

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all collections, including fabric details, seasonal trends, fit nuances, tailoring options, size availability, and styling possibilities.

Provide expert advice to clients, building trust and ensuring they feel confident in their purchases.

Use product knowledge as a clienteling tool by making personalized recommendations, suggesting wardrobe additions, and identifying pieces that align with each client’s lifestyle, preferences, and past purchases.

Speak confidently about Eleventy’s Made in Italy heritage, craftsmanship, quality, fabrics, and understated luxury positioning.

4. Commitment to Quality

Uphold the brand’s high standards of quality, ensuring that every detail — from product presentation to back-of-house organization — reflects the craftsmanship and luxury of the brand’s Made in Italy heritage.

Maintain strong standards of store presentation, fitting room experience, product care, organization, and overall brand image.

Support daily store operations as needed, including replenishment, merchandising, inventory awareness, and maintaining a clean, elevated selling environment.

Approach every client interaction, follow-up, and sale with the same level of care, precision, and attention to detail that defines the Eleventy brand.

Qualifications

Previous retail sales experience in the luxury industry, preferably in men’s or women’s ready-to-wear.
Strong clienteling experience with the ability to build, maintain, and grow a personal client book.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to generate business through outreach, appointments, repeat clients, referrals, and consistent follow-up.
Passion for fashion and a strong understanding of current trends.
A genuine passion for making people feel happy, valued, and cared for.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a high-level and discerning client base.
Strong styling ability and confidence in building complete looks.
Creative, proactive, and willing to bring forward new ideas to grow the business.
Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of personal business.
Strong interest in growing with the company and contributing to a developing brand.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
Open to travel opportunities, including seasonal selling support at our Hamptons location over the Summer.
