Full Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team for the weekend option night shift.

Duties

Evaluate patients upon entering the hospital prior to registration to determine triage status.
Provides nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, maintaining quality-nursing care in compliance with physicians and mid-level orders, hospital and nursing policies.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current registration with the Department of Professional Regulations in the State of Illinois.
Prefer a minimum of one (1) year of ER experience.
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications must be current.
TNS certification is expected within one year.

Schedule

Weekend Option Nights
36 hours / week
7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Every Saturday and Sunday night plus one weeknight shift
48 weekends a year with rotating holidays
