Full Job Description

Medical Assistant – Back/Front Office Floater

The World of Pediatrics is looking for a dependable, motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing pediatric team. This role is primarily back office with the flexibility to assist at the front desk when needed.

Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain vitals
Assist with swabs, vaccines, and lab work
Support providers with referrals and patient care
Perform point of care capillary sticks
Schedule appointments and answer phones
Verify insurance and collect payments
Float between back and front office as needed

Qualifications:

Medical office and EMR experience required
Pediatric experience preferred
ECW and Phreesia experience a plus
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Tech-savvy and adaptable team player

Important Details:

Must support childhood immunizations; up-to-date completed immunizations/titers required for all staff
