Sales Account Manager — Summary

The Sales Account Manager plays a central role in supporting and growing key customer accounts. This position is responsible for managing inquiries, preparing quotes, sourcing parts, coordinating repairs, and ensuring customers receive timely, accurate communication. It’s a relationship‑driven role that blends service, sales, and problem‑solving to strengthen account performance and uncover new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound quote management via email and phone
Outbound sales calls to build strong customer relationships
Ongoing development of profitable owned accounts
Sourcing parts and providing full customer support
Daily follow‑up on open quotes to drive orders
Assisting with order processing, expediting, and status updates
Reviewing open orders to ensure on‑time delivery
Supporting market research to identify growth opportunities
Understanding certification and traceability requirements
Developing new sales opportunities and converting inquiries into owned accounts
Upholding company policies, professionalism, and operational excellence
Identifying purchasing, consignment, and aging‑inventory opportunities
Monitoring customer purchasing patterns and communicating internally
Maintaining a culture of quality, service, and strong company representation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of aviation experience, including repair/vendor management
Strong understanding of FAA regulations and industry compliance
Experience with repair processes, vendor management, and cost analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills
Proven negotiation and vendor‑relationship management abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment

Working Conditions

Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Occasional travel (5–10%)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
