Job Opening: Bookkeeper/Office Assistant

Our busy office is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to join our team.

Qualifications:

5 Years of experience proficiency in QuickBooks is required!
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A strong work ethic and reliability

Hours & Work Days

Steady, manageable workload
Schedule: Monday – Thursday with flexible hours
Work environment: Friendly, family-oriented office
Manage company financials using QuickBooks (QB)
Assist the owner with various projects throughout the week
Assist with phones and provide excellent client support
Handle invoicing, and perform general office tasks
Run errands as needed for a small office of 6-10 employees
Full time may be considered after probationary period of 90 days

Summary

We are seeking an Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial for supporting our daily operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission by providing excellent organizational support and enhancing our office efficiency.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping with QuickBooks on-line.
Assist with daily office operations and administrative tasks.
Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.
Support accounting functions such as invoicing and account reconciliation.
Able to keep books in pristine order.
Prepare reports and assist in budgeting processes as needed.
Coordinate schedules and meetings for team members.
Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
Assist owner with tasks for admin work.

Requirements

Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
