Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

Flexible travel-based schedules tailored to facility needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering from cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures in a fast-paced stepdown environment
Closely monitor patient status, perform assessments, administer prescribed therapies, and provide immediate intervention as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the safest and most effective treatment plans
Educate patients and families on recovery, procedures, and ongoing self-care at discharge

Qualifications:

Current active RN license
Recent experience in stepdown (SDU), telemetry, cardiac, or progressive care settings highly preferred
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Strong clinical assessment skills and experience working with cardiac surgical populations

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
