Full Job Description

Physical Therapist – ONERO® Bone Health & Strength Program

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Therapist to lead small-group ONERO® training sessions for adults aged 50 and older. The therapist will work with 6–10 participants per session, helping individuals with osteopenia, osteoporosis, and age-related strength deficits safely improve bone density, muscle strength, balance, posture, and overall function through evidence-based high-intensity resistance and impact training. ONERO® is an evidence-based program developed specifically to improve bone health and reduce fracture risk through supervised exercise.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise small-group training sessions (6–10 participants) in a microgym environment.
Instruct and monitor proper performance of:
ONERO compound lifts
Functional strengthening exercises
Balance and posture training
Bone-loading and impact exercises as appropriate
Progress and modify exercise programs based on participant performance, medical status, and goals.
Ensure participant safety and adherence to osteoporosis precautions.
Educate clients on:
Bone health
Osteoporosis management
Fall prevention
Safe lifting mechanics
Long-term strength training principles
Track and document participant outcomes, including strength gains, balance improvements, functional performance, and bone health metrics.
Foster a supportive, motivating, and community-oriented training environment for older adults.

Ideal Candidate

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing.
Experience working with adults age 50+.
Strong interest in longevity, osteoporosis, bone health, and healthy aging.
Comfortable coaching strength training and functional fitness exercises.
Excellent communication and group leadership skills.
Ability to create an encouraging environment that builds confidence and independence.

Desired Skills

Experience with resistance training and weightlifting instruction
Knowledge of osteoporosis and osteopenia management.
Understanding of bone-loading principles and evidence-based exercise prescription.
Experience leading small-group fitness or wellness programs.
ONERO® certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Improved balance and posture.
Positive participant retention and satisfaction.
Long-term improvements in bone health and bone mineral density when appropriate.

This role combines the clinical expertise of outpatient physical therapy with the energy of strength coaching, helping adults over 50 become stronger, more resilient, and better protected against osteoporosis-related fractures.

Pay: $45.62 - $54.95 per hour
