A local Accounting Company is looking for a payroll clerk.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting and Payroll Clerk to join our finance team in Charleston, WV. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise will support the organization’s financial integrity, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and facilitate smooth payroll operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, experience with multiple financial software systems, and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.

Evaluation to hire for the right candidate

Pay rate based on experience.

Qualifications

· Associates degree in Accounting or Business with 3 years relevant work experience

· Well organized

· Ability to work independently

· Knowledge of computerized accounts systems
