Job Title: Coin, Cash and Currency Processor - Warehouse Specialist

Location: Charlotte NC 28202

Contract: 06+ Months Contract

Pay rate - $25 to $27/hr. on w2

Shift - 5:30 Am to 2:30 Am Mon to Fri

Job Description:

1. 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced production environment such as manufacturing or similar highly regulated environments.

2. Previous experience with currency handling. Training will be provided.

3. Detail oriented skills which can follow procedures in a highly audited environment.

4. Self-Motivated personality with a sense of responsibility and getting the job done.

5. A team player who can be flexible with other members and time rotation.

ALL Interviews onsite.
Only candidates who can pass a BG check should be submitted.

Responsibilities:

Currency verification. Receive bulk currency deposits for automated note processing; perform prepping activities to prepare currency for processing, such as detecting notes of wrong denominations in each strap.
Process each bundle received through the BPS (Banknote Processing System) which may reject currency due to possible lack of fitness or counterfeit status.
Verify rejected currency through the RS (Reconciling Station), prepare unfit currency for IDA (Independent Destroy All); detect counterfeit currency; record individual bank differences resulting from such verification, as well as from the detection of deposit shortages and overages.
