Sales & Marketing Manager

Position Summary
ISI® Elite Training Denver, NC is seeking an energetic, outgoing, highly motivated, and strategic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead business growth initiatives and help drive the next stage of our business.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for generating leads, converting prospects into members, strengthening our presence in the local community, building strategic partnerships, and executing marketing initiatives that drive measurable revenue growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable networking with local business owners, following up with a new lead by phone or text, creating a grassroots marketing campaign, analyzing sales performance, and motivating a sales team to exceed ambitious goals.
The Sales & Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in growing our membership base, improving lead conversion and retention, developing B2B and joint venture relationships, increasing community awareness, and ensuring that ISI Denver maintains a strong, visible, and engaging presence both online and throughout the Lake Norman community.
This position requires initiative, accountability, creativity, strong sales instincts, and a results-driven mindset. We are looking for someone who does not wait to be told where the next lead will come from- they actively create opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Membership Growth
- Own and drive membership sales performance to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and membership goals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that consistently generate new memberships and maximize conversion opportunities.
- Manage the complete prospect journey from initial inquiry through membership enrollment.
- Ensure timely and consistent follow-up with all leads through phone calls, text messages, email, CRM communication, and in-person outreach.
- Develop strategies to improve lead response time, appointment/show rates, trial participation, and sales conversion.
- Conduct sales consultations, facility tours, and membership presentations that effectively communicate the value and culture of ISI Elite Training.
- Overcome objections, identify prospective member needs, and confidently recommend the appropriate membership solution.
- Monitor lead pipelines and ensure no qualified lead is neglected or lost due to lack of follow-up.
- Re-engage former members, inactive prospects, past trials, and other warm leads through strategic win-back and nurture campaigns.
- Support promotional campaigns, special offers, challenges, referral initiatives, and membership events.
- Track sales performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion, revenue, and membership growth.
2. Lead Generation & Grassroots Marketing
- Take ownership of creating consistent, diversified lead-generation opportunities.
- Develop and execute organic, grassroots, and community-based marketing strategies.
- Build relationships with local businesses, employers, schools, sports organizations, apartment communities, healthcare providers, and other community partners.
- Create and maintain a strategic calendar of networking opportunities, community events, pop-ups, sponsorships, and local outreach activities.
- Identify opportunities for ISI Denver to participate in high-visibility local events.
- Coordinate off-site lead-generation activities and ensure proper follow-up occurs after every event.
- Develop creative strategies to generate leads outside of paid advertising.
- Implement referral and member ambassador initiatives that encourage existing members to introduce new prospects to ISI.
- Identify underserved or high-potential markets and develop targeted outreach strategies.
- Consistently seek new opportunities to increase brand awareness and attract qualified prospects.
Expectation: The Sales & Marketing Manager will actively contribute to lead generation and will be accountable for producing measurable results from grassroots and organic marketing efforts.
3. B2B Marketing & Strategic Partnerships
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations that can create mutually beneficial marketing opportunities.
- Build joint venture and strategic partnerships that expand ISI Denver's reach.
- Create corporate wellness, employee fitness, and business partnership opportunities.
- Develop partnership proposals and promotional opportunities that provide value to both ISI and the partnering organization.
- Coordinate cross-promotions, giveaways, events, referral opportunities, and other collaborative marketing initiatives.
- Maintain an organized partnership pipeline and consistently pursue new opportunities.
- Serve as a professional ambassador for the ISI Elite Training brand in the local business community.
- Track the effectiveness of partnerships and focus resources on relationships that generate meaningful awareness, leads, and revenue.
4. Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth
- Develop and execute local marketing strategies aligned with company goals, membership targets, promotions, and seasonal opportunities.
- Collaborate with ownership, management, coaches, and outside marketing partners to ensure marketing efforts support overall business objectives.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive monthly marketing and promotional calendar.
- Coordinate campaigns across social media, email, text messaging, events, partnerships, in-studio promotions, and grassroots efforts.
- Ensure all marketing messaging reflects the ISI brand, culture, energy, and mission.
- Identify opportunities to highlight member success stories, transformations, events, coaches, and community involvement.
- Assist in planning and executing major promotional campaigns, membership drives, challenges, anniversary events, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
- Evaluate campaign performance and adjust strategies based on results.
- Bring forward new ideas, trends, and opportunities to improve local marketing effectiveness.
5. CRM Management & Lead Nurturing
- Maintain accurate and organized prospect information within the CRM.
- Ensure all leads are properly documented, categorized, assigned, and followed up with according to established standards.
- Develop and implement lead-nurturing systems for new, warm, cold, and long-term prospects.
- Create effective sales scripts, follow-up sequences, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Monitor aging leads and develop strategies to revive opportunities that have not yet converted.
- Track lead sources to identify which marketing and lead-generation activities produce the strongest return.
- Maintain high standards for CRM accuracy, follow-up completion, and pipeline management.
- Regularly audit the sales pipeline to identify gaps, missed opportunities, and areas requiring immediate action.
6. Sales Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve individual and team goals.
- Establish clear expectations for lead response, follow-up, sales activity, conversion, and customer experience.
- Conduct regular sales coaching, role-playing, performance reviews, and training.
- Monitor individual performance and provide timely feedback and support.
- Hold team members accountable for completing required sales activities and following established processes.
- Celebrate wins and create a competitive, positive, high-energy sales culture.
- Identify performance gaps and implement action plans to improve results.
- Hiring, onboarding, and training sales-focused team members
- Lead by example through strong personal sales performance, initiative, professionalism, and follow-through.
7. Community Engagement & Member Experience
- Serve as a visible and enthusiastic representative of ISI Elite Training Denver.
- Support initiatives that strengthen relationships among members and build a strong community culture.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to create events and experiences that increase member engagement and referrals.
- Attend community events, networking opportunities, and business functions as appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to turn exceptional member experiences into testimonials, referrals, reviews, and organic marketing opportunities.
- Help ensure prospective members experience the energy, community, and value of ISI from their first interaction with the brand.
8. Reporting, Metrics & Performance Management
The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for regularly tracking, reporting, and improving key business metrics, including:

The Sales & Marketing Manager will provide regular updates to ownership and leadership regarding performance, challenges, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Qualifications Required
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a related growth-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue goals.
- Strong experience with lead generation, prospect follow-up, and relationship-based selling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable making outbound calls, sending follow-up communication, networking, and initiating conversations with prospective clients and business owners.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute independently.
- Experience using CRM systems and tracking sales activity.
- Ability to analyze performance data and adjust strategies based on results.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for events and community outreach.
Preferred
- Experience in the fitness, wellness, hospitality, franchise, membership, or service-based industry.
- Experience with B2B sales or partnership development.

- Knowledge of digital marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and promotional campaign development.
- Previous experience working within a franchise system.
